Full Kitchen Renovation – Mosborough, Sheffield

We recently completed a full kitchen renovation for a retired couple who had purchased a bungalow in the Mosborough area of Sheffield. The property required significant modernisation, starting with the complete removal of the existing kitchen, flooring, wall tiles, and a dividing wall with a serving hatch between the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen door was also bricked up to provide a more usable wall space and enhance the new layout.

Electrical & Heating Upgrades

To support the new kitchen design, we upgraded the electrical system, which included replacing the old fuse board and installing new ceiling spotlights. A new radiator was fitted in a more practical location, and as the clients opted for an induction hob and electric oven, we safely capped off and tested the existing gas supply.

Plastering & Preparation

Given the extent of structural changes, the newly shaped room was fully re-plastered and finished with coving to the customer’s specifications. We also prepared the subfloor by re-plying it, ensuring it was ready for the customer’s chosen floor covering.

Kitchen Installation

With the space fully prepared, we moved on to fitting the customer’s dream kitchen. They selected the elegant Bedale design from the Laura Ashley Collection, painted to order in the classic ‘Stone’ finish. The look was completed with Chalet Oak worktops, creating a warm and timeless feel. The layout included smart storage solutions such as corner organisers and hidden interior shelving.

All chosen appliances were supplied and professionally installed by our team, resulting in a beautifully modern and practical kitchen tailored to our clients’ lifestyle.
